Eternus nex

For this piece, what i tried to express was merely the vast and unknown ideas of where we go after all this? How is it like? and what really is perceived through our eyes as no more than the thought of the perpetual slumber that awaits all of us. Although more or less i have devised a symbolical representation of how we are simply not immortal and that what we do in this world just may effect us after. I can go into far more detail, but then i would be boring you . So i will merely just explain the image as simply as i can. The Hourglass like figure on the skull is simply a representation of how; like i said, of our mere mortality and that we are not perpetual. the candle symbolizes the light that guides us through out the dark and dim times that we face through out our lives. Finally the glass orb represents the reflective image of ourselves as a person and what we truly are in this world. Im sorry if you believe you cannot quite understand the image, but hey, that's art .
